Editorial Review: Product Description: Who says dating a vampire is easy? Raven's nocturnal romance with her immortal love, Alexander, is definitely dicey, but even more so with Alexander's meddling half-vamp cousin in town. Claude and his sketchy gang are on the hunt for a stash of blood-filled vials that can turn them into pure vampires. With an old family feud casting a shadow on the search, they'll do anything to get their hands on the vials. Raven and Alexander must swiftly mastermind a plan to outwit them, but will the very lure of the vials create more risk for Raven than she could ever imagine? And deepen her own quandary about the possibility of becoming a vampire? Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - Love the drawings!I thought that the drawings were well done. As an artist myself, i appreciate the line work and detail. I was disappointed because I wanted the book to be a little longer. I thought that the characters' design was nicely done and I especially liked the character description at the end and the different angle drawings. Rating: - Courtesy of Teens Read TooRaven is back, along with her vampire boyfriend, Alexander, and trouble is still following them around town. Alexander's cousin, Claude, along with his gang, is unfortunately continuing to grace them with their presence - and it is definitely not for good reasons. Raven is doing all she can to protect her family from these half-vampires, even resorting to the age old trick of garlic necklaces placed around the house. But Raven knows that the only way Claude will leave and ... I had never read one before and was slightly scared that I was not going to like it. I shouldn't have worried. I loved it! It was an amazing story! I loved how even though it is a comic book, you could really get a feel of both Raven and Alexander, as in who they are, and what they stand for. The only thing ... Read More Rating: - Delightful and Quirky Addition to the VK SeriesOne of the better examples of Amerimanga that I've ever read, this installment of the Vampire Kisses series doesn't disappoint those looking for a good, humorous story with catchy artwork and likable characters. I'd recommend reading the first Blood Relatives installment before jumping into this one, as well as the novels, though one doesn't necessarily have to read the novels to be able to pick up the manga. It's all just better together! If you like vampires and goth hijinks, then ... Read More Rating: - Well, if you're wondering whether or not to buy this, I think you should....The plot was more involved than the first book, which made me happy, partly because it was longer I suppose. Over all, I love the characters. They make these hilarious expressions at just the right moment! I honestly love all of them, even the side characters - for instance one of Claude's groupies ducks for cover when found in the bathroom because she's avoiding her lack of reflection being discovered and then she makes up some snarky comment about losing her contact lens. It remains just light enough ... Read More Browse for similar items by category:
