![]() Rating: - Not as strong as its predecessorI purchased and devoured "My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding," so was incredibly eager to read this one as well. While I was glad to read another story about Harry Dresden in any form, I found most of the rest of the stories not really worth my time. The vast majority of them assume knowledge of long-standing series, which end up cheating these shorter contributions - meant to either fill in the gap or entice you to try the series - from any semblance of satisfaction. Armstrong's uses ... Read More Rating: - An enjoyable collection of short storysI bought this book because there was a Jim Butcher tale in it. I enjoyed that story, as I expected that I would. I was pleased that all of the other stories were enjoyable as well. I hadn't actually expected that. Now I have more authors to look for when I need a good full length story to pass an enjoyable evening. Rating: - An eclectic mix of urban fantasy and paranormal romance tales that explore the unusual side of romanceCourtesy of CK2S Kwips and Kritiques Clay and Elena are on their honeymoon when Clay realizes they are being Stalked (by Kelley Armstrong) by a non-pack werewolf out to claim Elena for his own. Hunting the mutt may be exactly what this couple needs to liven up their honeymoon which has been rather *gasp* boring. Stalked is an excellent introduction to the Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong for people new to that world. It is also a great interlude for fans of ... I recently discovered this genre to read in between biology and medicine abstracts, and these stories are truly fun. The only name I recognized was Jim Butcher--author of the stories on which television's Dresden Files was based. But I'll be looking for novels by many of the other authors. However, there was one story that sadly was a knockoff of Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean. But hey, you can't win 'em all. Other ... Read More Rating: - Not To Read When You Need to Get Up the Next Morning!I bought this book mainly for the story by Jim Butcher and i was pleasantly suprised when i decided to read the rest of the stories, too. I now have new authors to explore that I may have never tried before. I could not put the book down, and spent a few nights letting the book hit me in the face before I would put it down and give into sleep. Browse for similar items by category:
