It has a myriad of diverse characters, side-stories, and intrigue, nd yet it is still relatively easy to follow, and exciting. - The Pirate KingThis book is a good transition form the first. In many trilogies all three books are the same story. "The Orc King" was one story and now "The Pirate King" is a different story. I am not too crazy about Captain Deudermont and he is in this book a lot. He is too self rightous and I think that it blinds him from reality. I think that this could have been a brilliant book, but just falls short. The main plot seems to take the focus away from Drizzt which i cannot agree with, unless, this book is leading up to something in the ghost king. The title of the next book suggests something to do with Akleem Greeth and a possible battle between him and Drizzt.
