- Sparks does it againI've read several Sparks books and this one is one of the better ones. In typical Sparks fashion, love is not worth having if there isn't a little pain in the process. - What a rescueI really enjoyed reading this book. Nicholas Sparks has done it again! The story starts out with a single mother named Denise is driving through this hellious storm with her 4 year old son Klye in the back seat. She nearly hits a deer and crashes her car.
