- Continuation of great GL mythologyThis book continues Geoff John's big Green Lantern story arc featuring Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern of my youth. When I first heard about these other colored Lantern corps, the whole idea seemed a little cheesy. But Johns has been able to make credible and interesting stories that stand on their own as stories and also plug into the larger "Blackest Night" storyline. I would definitely recommend this book to Green Lantern fans.

- Interesting storyline from Geoff JohnsIn this collection of GL stories, we witness the birth of the Lantern Corps internal affairs department (beings known as Alpha Lanterns, who undergo specialized surgery and have direct connection to the Central Power Battery) in the wake of the Sinestro Corps War, which resulted in the deaths of many of the Lantern Corps.
