- the origin storyHeroes in a Half Shell combines the first two episodes of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon series from 1987. They basically tell the origin of the Turtles. Here the turtles meet April and first encounter the Shredder's goons. After his foot soldiers and goons are defeated he creates two mutants, Bebop and Rocksteady, with hopes that they will be able to defeat the turtles.
