Editorial Review: Product Description: Now you can relive some of the classic video games of the 80s with the Namco TV Games Video Game System. It's so easy to use -- just plug the handheld joystick into your TV or VCR and you're ready to play Pac-Man, Galaxian, Rally-X, DigDug or Bosconian. Requires 4 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included). ![]() Rating: - GREAT GAME FOR RETRO FANSIf you grew up in the 80s, this is a must-have. Easy to hook up, compact for traveling, simple operation. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it doesn't have Galaga, the greatest video game ever, and the reset button is awkwardly placed on the console, making it easy to accidentally reset in mid-game. Even so, it's a great product, especially for the cost. Rating: - namco tv gameI have had this game in the past and it went up. I tried to buy it again from a seller on Amazon.com. Although Amazon.com is very reliable and cooperative, the seller that I tried to buy from is definitely not. I had to get a refund through Amazon. Rating: - It's not the same, you won't relive your pastThe version of Pac Man on this little unit isn't the good one you might remember. (The Pac Man itself was a little too round, the sound was off...something was amiss, yet many didn't notice. If you were a true afficianado, you noticed). Well, this fake one is the one that's shipped with this unit. And it's just as disappointing as it used to be. It's not the real pac man. Standing in front of those tall machines, staring at the monitors as Pac-Man™ gobbles his way around a maze of dots being chased by Blinky, Inky, Pinky and Clyde, shoving quarter after quarter into the narrow slot with the hope of one day breaking the high score. I must have spent at least $1,000 or more on those games while my brain cells slowly burned away in the electric blue glow. Ah, those were the days. Imagine my surprise ... It has all sorts of noise on it and you can't even see what you are doing. Total play time before it broke was probably about 12 hours. Will be trying to get a replacement since the kids love it. Hopefully, that one will last longer. Browse for similar items by category:
