- Awful. There is nothing else better to describe it.I was really anticipating this album. But after listening to the first CD (or trying to listen), it's just plain awful. I won't even attempt to listen to the rest of the set because it will make my speakers cry.
Half the instruments are out of tune and the brass is all over the place. The strings are out of sync, and the music is void of emotion. This would sound OK if you were in a drunken stupor. Don't get me wrong. It would be alright if the set cost $10 and you were using it ... Read More

I love that it has the suite arrangements on a lot of the music so that you get the best themes from the movies in a shorter amount of time. It has most everything I've heard of associated with John Williams up to its time. However, the performances of the music are not always that great.
