Amazon.com: The creators of the popular The Batman animated series pit the Caped Crusader against the Prince of Darkness in this energetic full-length animated feature. This isn't the first time Batman (Rino Romano) has squared off against Dracula--the Dark Knight faced him in the critically acclaimed graphic novel Red Rain--but in this battle, he's up against not only the King of the Vampires (voiced with gusto by Peter Stormare) but his longtime foes the Joker (Kevin Michael Richardson) and the Penguin (Spongebob Squarepants' Tom Kenny); it's the latter who accidentally revives Dracula, and reluctantly aids the bloodsucker in unleashing a wave of vampirism in Gotham. Can the Batman defeat this terrible trio in time before lady-love Vicky Vale (Tara Strong) becomes their next victim? Only one way to find out--and while you're enjoying the film, be sure to explore the supplemental features, which include "Voices in Close-up," with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the film's vocal talent, as well as "City of the Knight," a game that allows access to additional behind-the-scenes glimpses. --Paul Gaita Average Rating:
![]() Rating: - If you're a fan of the new Batman this is for you. The Batman is a much newer, much younger Batman, and this movie is a wonderful in a more mature animation style and a much more mature theme for the movie. It's blood and Batman in Dracula's new back yard Gotham City. This is a fun movie and it has a great story and if you're a Batman fan, it's a great film for the collection. Rating: - The Dark Knight vs. The Prince of DarknessThis was an enertaining movie. The matchup of Batman vs. Dracula is appealing in terms of what each character represents and because it is always cool to see your childhood hero take on a classic movie monster liek Dracula. The story is fairly well written and the motives behind what drives the villian and hero are believable. Overall, it is definitely worth watching. Rating: - Good Fun.Well, given that this is a movie about Batman taking on Dracula, I didn't have high hopes as far as the plot, storyline and overall coherence were concerned. My roommate and I happen to be staunch fans of Batman and just thought we'd give it a try. We weren't disappointed. Predictable and hazyplot, yes (Dracula doesn't seem too surprised to wake up in a modern city nowhere near Transylvania), but also excellent animation, some awesome, atmospheric music and a really cool Batman, and ... It was just so bizarre having batman battling Dracula whom would have crushed batman with one blow. Penguin was totally pathetic and weak and joker looked like a predator rip off. This was awful. Rating: - The Batman at his best!Batman vs Dracula is one of the best superhero cartoon movies I've seen since Batman Beyond Return Of The Joker(unedited version)! It is a great family movie and is very interesting and entertaining to watch.Though I would have like to have seen more blood and more of a scare factor in this movie, the creators did a fine job of keeping the violence level acceptable for all audiences.I recommend Batman vs Dracula to all superhero movie lovers of all ages!Buy this one,it is money well spent!!!
