- The first is the greatest.The 1989 Batman film is probably the best we'll ever see of The Dark Knight in a major motion picture. At the time of this writing there has been two Batman films directed by Christopher Nolan, I won't waste time comparing Burton to Nolan but I will certain defend this first outing with Michael Keaton wearing the cape and cowl.

- Absolutely THE Best Batman MovieI can't imagine how this movie could get any better. Jack Nicholson is perfect as the joker. The story and characters are great.And the Batmobile looks like a batmobile, not a Hummer. A Hummer is NOT a batmobile. I love every like the Joker says. "Oh Theyre'll be a hot time in the old town tonight!",he sings as he electocutes a rival with a rigged joy buzzer! Just campy enough, just dark enough, perfect!
