It had the heat of red hot peppers without any of the underlying green, fruity notes that peppers should provide. Prepared with hot water, it offers all the nutrition of hot water and wheat noodles. - Suits my tastes just fineEveryone has different taste buds. I'm personally somewhat of a foodie who likes a wide range of food. I found the Spicy Thai Soup from Fantastic World foods to be tasty. I liked the broth- spicy with a bit of kick (not too much). For a convenience food, I thought it was really good and a great vegan lunch.

- Horrible smell and tasteLike an earlier reviewer, I too noticed this smells like plastic. Somewhat spicy tasting, but the smell overpowers and ruins what might be an average ramen snack. I tossed the rest of these in the garbage. Maybe it'll mix with the other chemicals in the landfill and be the second coming of the Flying Spaghetti Monster!

- Edible, but not goodThe flavors were unbalanced, as a previous customer said. I still find the soup palatable, and am slowly working my way through the bulk box I got via the gold box. I won't be buying again though.

- I would not buy this againGot this as a gold box special. Smells a bit like plastic. Odd flavor, reminded me of artificial salt. Ate one bowl, hated it, tried it again the next day, still hated it. I will offer the remaining 10 to a homeless person.
