- Good value for the moneyI bought the friction mount for my garmin GPS because I didn't want to attach the GPS to my windshield. I have to say that I am extremely satisfied with its performance. The mount is really stable, and doesn't move around on the dash while driving. It also lets you hide the GPS unit when it is not in use. Overall a good buy!

- Garmin portable friction dashboard is greatI purchased one of these several months ago for myself. My daughter saw it on the dash of my car and said she would like one too. I bought her one for Christmas. It really stays put on the dash no matter how fast you turn a corner or stop. It is so much better than the windshield mount. I would highly suggest this to everyone no matter what kind of car you have. I have a Dodge Durango SUV and a Mustang GT convertible and it works wonderfully in both.

- A Bit ShakyI purchased this mount to replace the suction cup window mount that came with my Nuvi 660. Unfortunately, when placed on my F-150 dashboard, my Nuvi 660 shakes and makes looking at the display annoying. Went back to the window mount. Other than the shake, the unit performed as described.
