We bought it for our granddaughter who is almost 3-yrs-old and the look on her face when she saw it was priceless! The castle is made of wood and is very sturdy. The working drawbridge, multiple rooms, balcony hide-aways and walkways provide endless settings for every possible fairytale. The pretty pink and floral painted details are lovely. - Very nice for the priceI am very impressed with this castle. It was well packaged, and is well built. My daughter loves it. One item of note is the silly little wooden piece that goes between the casle towers. It doesn't really serve any purpose and could've been nicer a a small bridge to put figures on.
