- Illusion is the Ultimate WeaponMASK was an obscure line of toys, cartoons, and comics that showed up in the mid-80's to battle it out with GI Joe and the Transformers for toy supremacy. MASK probably lost that war, but it put up a good fight. Produced by Kenner, the strategy was dirt simple, take a little of GI Joe and a little of the Transformers and combine them into a new idea. MASK was the result. Some people probably saw this as a blatant rip off of proven ideas, but MASK still had a certain charm, so to speak.
