The Metal Cell 2 is the best triathlon wetsuit available; specifically designed to fit a man's body and has all the features you expect to keep you ahead of the competition. It is made of Yamamoto #39 Smoothskin rubber with SCS coating; the finest quality neoprene available. The Metal Cell 2 has 5mm thick neoprene on the body, thighs and calves for maximum buoyancy and 3 mm on the shoulders, arms and collar for better range of motion and comfort. The arms and legs are cut shorter for fast removal during transition, by having a larger opening designed to fit around the forearm/calf and not the wrist/ankle, to easily get it past the hands and feet. The arm cuffs of the Metal Cell 2 are thinner and use Ultra Flex textile inside to help shave every possible second in transition. The unique cut of this suit has been born from 30 years of Aquaman's experience and the flexibility of the neoprene that Profile Design uses allow the closest fit possible on the body for maximum speed. The key feature of the Metal Cell 2 is that it incorporates a unique three layer textile laminate: an outer neoprene layer for insulation and buoyancy, an inner jersey textile that helps bond the seams together and laminate the two layers, and The Metal Cell- a .5mm inner neoprene layer with SCS, to facilitate sliding on and off the wetsuit, that fits against the skin. With the neoprene directly against the skin, the entry of water is almost nonexistent and water retention is at a minimum. The result is a lighter, warmer, faster wetsuit. Since the textile is no longer in direct contact with the water; water absorption becomes practically non-existent, while the warm factor is maximized.
