- Doesn't work in my older houseI've got an older (100+ yr) house which apparently has thicker and larger door trim than this is designed for. It won't fit around all of it. Guess I'll have to mount one. Too bad, I like the push up features of this as well.

- Awesome chin up bar... get one!!I actually purchased a different product than this one initially, for my almost 13-year-old son for Christmas. After it arrived we realized it wouldn't work for our doorframes so bought this one instead (I did not order from Amazon, though -- got this one from RiteAid for $29.99 and didn't have to pay shipping!)

- Pull Up BarI was excited to see this product on tv, but I had some doubts! So I bought it and I put it to the test. By the time it was assembled and installed on the door's frame it was too low to the ground to be effective as a pull up bar even though I am only 5'10"! it also did not feel secure on the frame of the door, and it did not feel safe to use. The bottom line I am not happy with this product and I do not recommend it.

I wanted to use this where I workout at also, and it was not wide enough for the doorways.
Tried finding the 'enclosed offer' for the extended long bar but it did not exist. Could not find on Internet either, so I modified it as follows:

Allows Iron Gym to be used in wider doorways!
