Living Cookbook 2008

I bought Living Cookbook 2005 2 years ago after extensive research into all the cooking applications available. The reviews for Living Cookbook were great then and 2008 is even better. I upgraded to 2008 this last Xmas and am even more impressed with this version. I am a professional Web and User Interface designer, so I'm more critical than most users would be. This product is really pretty good but the customer service is horrible. First of all the code that you need to install the software is include (supposedly) on your invoice but of course no one tells you that so when you go to install the software if you happened to throw that away your screwed. Also if you want to get in touch with customer service (b/c you threw away your invoice) you have to sign up to get an account and then you have to place questions on a board. I've used other cookbook software and this one is by far the easiest and most diverse one I have found. You can import recipes from just about anywhere including ones from your favorite websites within seconds! I've had it for quite sometime and each time I use the program I find some other interesting thing that it is capable of doing.

The most impressive thing though is the quality of the support from the programmer, Lee. He is so quick and thorough in answering questions. Thanks Lee!

I've made 2 cookbooks now, and each time I show them, no one can believe that they are my own recipes, and not just printed off the web customizable comment section on the recipe is the only way that someone can tell I didn't just steal the recipe! After doing lots of searching for a recipe organizer I found Living Cookbook 2008. I ordered one for myself, my mom and a friend. I'm very happy with the product and the company's customer support. I had misplaced the license numbers, I got a reply to my forum question within 15 minutes of my post. I will recommend this product to anyone looking for a recipe organizer.
