- Cheap, Homemade ItemThis switchplate is nothing more than a cheap plastic plate that someone stuck a piece of zebra paper on and brushed with decoupage glue from the craft store. If you hold it at an angle you can see that the finish is all uneven. Not only that, it came wrapped in the NY Daily News (classy...) and smelled so strongly of glue that it will have to be aired out for days before using.
