- My little hero!My son loves his cape! He's 3 & 1/2. I got him the red one & one in blue. He seems to prefer the blue one & has me wear the red one & we pretend to fly around together. I liked this one because it had a velcro closing on the neck. For safety reasons I wanted velcro because it'll open up & come off if the cape catches on something or some kid tries to pull it off him. I didn't want to get a cape that tied.
