![]() Rating: - A suprisingly good Prince album...I think one of Prince's best songs is "Electric Chair." Incredible guitar riffs, and I can never get sick of it! I also like "Partyman" and "Trust." The lyrics to "Lemon Crush" are not that great (If I was working at my jobba', i'm the victim, your the robba..") but it's still a fun Prince song. I really loved the funky music they put in the movie when I was a kid, and I assumed it was Michael Jackson or a compliation of other 80's artists. The beats have the best 80's beats of any of the songs that came out during that time.I was excited years and years later to discover that Prince was the sole artist on this album. ... The nine tracks clock in at 42:29 and the album soared to #1 on the Billboard 200 and R&B album charts, but the results are uneven at best. ...
