In association with Amazon.com - Great EntertainmentTruly a classic film. They must have studied the behaviour and personalities of rats for ages to perfect it! Great for all the family! Rating: - An animation masterpiece! What can I say that hasn't already been said? The animation is breathtaking, the story pacing is superb, the story itself is dramatic, funny, and heart-warming without being treacly. This is a movie they got right in every respect. I'm sure all that has been said before. I loved this movie so much I just wanted to say it again. Rating: - Worthy of the AwardRatatouille was a great movie in my opinion. It follows the story of a Rat living on the outskirts of Paris, France and his desire to become a Chef. Disney and Pixar have a fairly decent tag team going on here, but not every movie they make is good. Back in 2006, they released "Cars", and to me that was a bad movie. Someone told me that with "Cars" Disney and Pixar attempted an overindulgence of humor, which cost it winning the Academy Award that year because no one took it serious. "Happy Feet" won the award that year and it deserves it because of it's deep and emotional story that the message was mainly trying to say that our world is changing and we need to save it for the lives of others. Now to get back on topic, Ratatouille wanted to remove to excessive amount of humor and add more of a story to the mix. It was able to successfully pull this off and still was able to throw in the right amount of humor. It's a fairly long movie to, so you get your moneys worth by watching this. There was a time where I had no desire to see this movie what so ever, but I saw it after many people told me it was pretty good, and I was surprised that I actually enjoyed watching this movie. Rating: - Ratatouille, a movie for the whole family. My family enjoyed this movie so much. Great entertainmnet for adults and children alike. Lots of action and even a couple of "EEEYOU"s. One of my favorite Disney DVD's. Rating: - Genuinely fun for the larger peopleWith hundreds of reviews in place, is there any need for another one? I'll leave that unanswered. Instead let me say that I went to see Ratatouille with my daughters. They had a wonderful, fun time, and might possibly have learned something about French restaurants. And I had a completely reasonable time, laughed some, and generally enjoyed myself. The Pixar folks have a pretty good handle on making kids films that adults at least tolerate, and often appreciate. Isn't that the definition of a family film? DVD : Ratatouille Get your Ratatouille Christmas presents today! |
